The Community of Grise Fiord Health Centre.
Grise Fiord, home to approximately 145, has the distinction of being Canada’s most northerly community. It is located on the southern tip of Ellesmere Island. Towering icebergs drift past the community when the ice melts in summer. The rest of the year the community overlooks a frozen sea. Local marine life includes walrus, beluga whales, guillemots, seals and polar bears. http://www.grisefiord.ca/eng/index.html
