No Sales Tax

Unlike most parts of Canada, Nunavut has no territorial/provincial sales tax. Of course GST applies, but sales taxes are not added to or harmonized with the GST.

When Nunavut residents purchase locally, order over the Internet or by mail, they only pay GST on their purchases.
